  • A pencil
  • A tile cutter
  • Grout
  • Spacers
  • Spreader
  • A tape measure
  • Sponge
  • Level
  • Gloves

After you have gathered these materials, here are some steps that you can follow to install bathroom tiles in Perth properly:-

Step 1: Check out the area which you are going to tile

Before you start the installation process, it’s important to check out the area. Make sure to clean and dry the whole area so that when you apply the tile, it doesn’t come off. Also, it is advised to remove the wallpapers and previous tiles before starting.

Step 2: Test how the tiles will fit

In this step, it is assumed that you have the correct number of tiles in your inventory. After clearing the area, try to fit in the tiles to get an idea of what they would look after the installation has been finished. Also, use a tape measure to record the inches so that you can cut the tiles accordingly at the edges.

Step 3: Cut the tiles accurately

In this step, you need to cut the tiles accurately according to the measurements. Make sure to double check the measurements before cutting the tiles. After all, you will not want inappropriately cut tiles in your bathroom, right? If you are hesitant about the process, ask some expert to cut the tiles for you. Better yet, ask licenced professionals to cut the tiles for you.

Step 4: Start installing

If you have managed to complete the previous steps, it’s now time to install the tiles. As you have already laid down the tiles as mentioned in step 2, try putting in some spacers. Now you need to lift the tiles and spread adhesive on the wall or floor followed by laying the tiles over it. After this, use a sponge to remove the excess adhesive. Repeat this step until you have covered the whole area you are going to tile. Make sure to leave the area overnight so that the adhesive can set.

Step 5: Fill in the gaps

Last but not the least; you need to add the grout. Follow the instructions while mixing the grout and use your gloves. After removing the spacers, spread the grout in between the tiles. You need to be extra cautious so that you don’t make a mess.
